A high-achieving school system brings business and industry, which helps the tax base for everyone.
I'm married to John Erbele, and together, we have 4 grown children and 2 grandchildren who attend White County Schools. I have a degree in journalism from UGA and spent 20 years with BellSouth in the corporate world. Since 1997, I've written for magazines and newspapers.
For the last 5 years, I've worked for the White County News and covered White County Schools. I've attended every BOE meeting in that time. Over the years, I've watched board members struggle with controversy and make decisions.
I've studied our schools' ratings and compared them to others in the state. I can contribute level-headed analysis, objectivity and balance to the board - weighing the needs of taxpayers, students, parents, faculty and staff.
Candidates always say they don't have an "agenda." My goal is simple – to have the best school system in the state as part of a thriving, dynamic community.
You can vote for me even if you can't pronounce my last name. But so you can tell your neighbors - it's pronounced URR-ba-lee
I need your help to reach the voters - with phone calls, signs, ads and meetings. If you're willing to talk to people, put signs out or want one for your yard - email me at Erbele4BOE@lindaerbele.com. If you can make a donation, even a small one, click below to use PayPal or a credit card. If you'd prefer to write a check, make it out to Erbele for BOE and mail to P.O. Box 143, Sautee Nacoochee, Ga. 30571. And thanks for any thing you can do to help!
