It's the primary - when voters choose the Republican and Democratic candidates who will face off in November. BUT - the local election in White County has only Republican candidates. Those candidates will be chosen during the primary. The only chance you have to choose between the local candidates is the primary, May 22.
Early voting, both advanced and in-person, begins Monday, April 30. In order to vote, you must have registered by Tuesday, April 24. In November, you'll be voting on the state races, such as governor, lt. governor, secretary of state, General Assembly and congressional races.
